Program 2010-2011

North Vancouver Youth Band

2010-2011 Program


A fun and rewarding program for ages 9 to 21 with professional instruction, activities, concert and wrap up party. A great start or enhancement to your child’s musical education!

Beginners to advanced musicians, with all marching band instruments.

The North Vancouver Youth Band is offering the following levels:

  • Beginner :  No experience required
  • Intermediate :  1-2 years experience
  • Advanced: 3+ years experience

Registration and Meet and Greet:  Sept 15 from 6:00 to 8:00PM

Location:  École André-Piolat, 380 Kings Road West (one block north of Queens at Mahon). Classes will also be at this location.

Rehearsal Schedule 2010-2011 (subject to change)

Beginners

Thursday

 

5:00 – 6:15 pm

Juniors          

Thursday

6:30 – 8:00 pm

Seniors          

Wednesday

6:00 – 7:30 pm

 

 
Resignations and Subsidies:

  • Resignations from the Band must be in writing and are effective the end of the month in which the written resignation is received by the Treasurer or Bandmaster.
  • If someone is unable to meet the above fee structure and needs financial assistance, please contact the bandmaster or the registrar at info@nvyb.com or 604-980-5823 for a confidential consideration of a financial subsidy. You will be contacted concerning your application. We want everyone to have the opportunity to play.
